What began in 1870 as a simple inn on the edge of Schillingen has grown into a living family business with heart. Five generations of the Maßem family have dedicated their lives to this house – and each has left something lasting: an idea, a handed-down speciality, another piece of soul.
Here, in the heart of the Hochwald between the Saar, the Moselle and the Hunsrück, our house stands for honest cooking, artisan butchery and warm-hearted hospitality. We are not an off-the-shelf hotel – we are a family house that knows and values its guests.
