For 150 years, the Maßem restaurant has been a place to arrive – for hikers, bikers, locals and guests from all over the world. We cook with heart and craftsmanship: home cooking from our own butchery, fresh regional ingredients and home-made specialities you won't find anywhere else.

From a hearty soup of the day to our Sunday lunch menu and multi-course celebration dinners – our kitchen is as varied as our guests. Our former signature dish, the herb pork, may no longer have its regular place on the menu, but our passion for exceptional meat specialities and artisan quality has of course remained.

You can book a private wine tasting at your table to go with our Hochwald dishes at any time. For lovers of fine spirits there is the "Himmelsleiter" (stairway to heaven), a dessert with a difference: five fine schnapps of 1 cl each from our range. The inn and the dining room are non-smoking; in the "Irish Pub" you can relax after your meal with a game of darts and good music, and smoking is permitted there.
